Here are the details we previously uncovered at Gen Con 50:
-No details regarding release date. However, Cubicle 7 has advertised 2017.
-Cubicle 7 (C7) has told fans that WFRP 4e will be released normally, meaning it won’t have a Kickstarter to raise funds.
-WHFRP4 will be a bit different from first and second edition, but “if you stood on their shoulders, you could clearly see 4 from there”. It will not borrow anything from third edition, and is clearly looking to be the latest evolution of the classic D100 percentile system.
-Default setting of WFRP 4th edition is The Enemy Within era of the Empire. By dialing the timeline back, they’ll let everyone enjoy the classic ‘Old World Feel’ and decide for themselves how far they wish to go into the Storm of Chaos/End Times material.
-WFRP 4e is meant to be the “Look, a Bloodthirster! Run!” game, while Age of Sigmar is meant to be the “Look, a Bloodthirster! Charge!” game. Different power levels, different gonzo levels. C7 said that while they and other writers on WFRP4 are big fans of the classic Old World, they’re actually really looking forward to Age of Sigmar as a chance to do something that feels very different within the Warhammer mythos. C7 said they have hopes to develop Age of Sigmar’s setting into something very special, and those who were originally turned off by Age of Sigmar should give the RPG take on it a second look.
-C7 said the current regime at GW is very enthusiastic about RPGs and is a dream to work with. C7 has already been offered free ad space in White Dwarf as a way of supporting the rpg-end of the Warhammer hobby.
Irgendwie schon seltsam ... Will mein gutes altes Warhammer zurück!
For those who haven't spotted this:
A quick update on the WFRP Limited Edition Rulebooks: The packaging on our final samples from the manufacturer wasn't quite good enough, so we've had to take a bit more time to rework it to make sure they get to you in great condition. Sorry, it's frustrating to have this small delay added at the end of the process. I'm sure you can imagine that we are very keen to get these out to everyone (and to get our copies!) but we would hate for transit damage to spoil anyone's copy.
The books themselves are gorgeous, we're delighted with how they have turned out!
We expect them to ship from the factory early next week, and will confirm onwards shipping dates once they have arrived (it usually takes a week for them to get to us).
Warhammer Fantasy-Rollenspiel
Sehr praktisch also.

Our immediate intentions are to release a pair of player focused books, one for those with magical inclinations, and another for those with more faith in honest gunpowder and steel. We will be exploring in more depth some of the non-human species that we have heard you clamouring for, and intend to stretch our wings, as it were, in exploring regions beyond the borders of the Empire. Our adventure content will certainly continue, especially with a focus on Altdorf and Middenheim, as we know that many groups are putting down roots in those two vaunted cities!
count me in...(https://i.ibb.co/7nMzzJD/20211119-163746-Kopie.jpg)
Welche WFRP Edition meinst Du denn?

- Legitimate Business Enterprises. A guide to setting up a business enterprise in the Empire, with detail on how to make a profit and grow from humble beginnings to a mighty concern.
- The Cult of Handrich, God of Trade. Merchants throughout the old world seek Handrich’s blessing in their dealings, but his cult is a new one, and his priests are rarely encountered outside of Marienburg.
- Folk Worship and Hedge Magic. The beliefs and traditions of those who live in the rural areas of the Empire are given scrutiny. The Old Faith is a tradition of the ancient folk who lived before the coming of Sigmar, and which has now faded in relevance and power. The practice of hedge magic is described in detail, with several new spells. Minor gods, such as Khaine, and the pantheons of Elves, Dwarfs, and Halflings, are discussed.
- The Cult of Solkan, God of Vengeance. Whilst he is a mostly forgotten deity, whose puritanical creed is too stringent and uncompromising for most folk, Solkan promises aid to those who seek to wreak divine retribution.
- The Cult of Rhya, Goddess of Fertility. Beseeched by those who till the soil and tend the sheep, Rhya may seem a distant deity by the folk of the Empire’s cities, but in the country to understand her ways often makes the difference between life and death.
- Rules Updates and Additions. The archive also includes new rules for different designs of armour, more minor magical effects, animal familiars for witches and wizards, updated starting skills and talents for Characters from the various districts of Altdorf, and Lord Adalbert Knopp-Itzel, a quixotic champion of the Jungfreud cause.
- The history of Lustria, from the coming of the enigmatic Old Ones and the height of Lizardman civilization, to the present day, when the plans of the Old Ones are disputed by those who seek to carry them out, and younger warm-blooded species seek to rob Lustria of its wealth.
- The great temple-city of Tlaxtlan, home to a multitude of Lizardmen and centre of devotions to the impassive and unshakeable Old One Tlazcotl.
- The ruined temple-city of Quetza, an old lair of the Skaven of Clan Pestilens that houses many terrible secrets and brooding plagues.
- Skeggi, a Norse foothold of raiders and traders to the north of Lustria where adventurers may get rich quick, but more likely die trying.
- The Citadel of Dawn, a High Elf fortress and port on the southern cape, threatened by the ambitions of the notorious Dark Elf corsair Lokhir Fellheart.
- The Vampire Coast, a marshy morass of mangrove swamp within which Arch-Commodore Luthor Harkon holds his court of the undead and plots to expand his realm.
- Great new rules for explorer careers, founding and managing a settlement, Lizardmen of several different species, events and endeavours, parasitic diseases, monstrous creatures of the Lustrian jungle, and fully playable Skink Characters.

Old world Adventures: Forest of Hate
A plague is afflicting settlements in the eastern Laurelorn Forest. Shallyan prayers have proven ineffective and herbal remedies are scarce. If the Empire’s heroes cannot discover a way to contain this plague, Nordland’s logging industry will collapse as war and chaos devastate the Laurelorn.
Forest of Hate is an exciting action-investigative adventure aimed at experienced Characters in the 2nd or 3rd tier of their Careers.Characters will face up against disease, discrimination and superstition as they explore the beleaguered forest towns. A terrified populus, a group of nefarious woodsmen, ancient Elven ruins and more await as Characters attempt to uncover and ultimately thwart the machinations of the Ruinous Powers from corrupting the Laurelorn.
An ideal standalone adventure, Forest of Hate can be easily incorporated into existing WFRP campaigns. Alternatively it makes an ideal precursor for players looking to explore the Laurelorn Forest campaigns from Archives of the Empire: Vol. 1

Visits to taverns and coaching inns are a regular feature of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, as places to gather information, locate a local person of interest, or spend the night in relative safety.
Adventures and supplements for Warhammer Fantasy roleplay detail several inns, but they are often particular venues in particular locations that serve the needs of the adventure. This supplement is designed to help a GM in a hurry generate a tavern that feels like part of the Old World but that is also distinct enough to have a unique feel. A GM who is caught unprepared when their players decide to head to the nearest tavern can use this guide to determine what sort of fare is available, what the staff is like, and what customers are currently spending their time in the taproom.
So the next time your players announce they are heading to the nearest hostelry, a few rolls using this guide can quickly result in a suitable place with a distinctive feel and circumstances.
WARLIKE AND RAPACIOUS – ORCS AND GOBLINS PLAGUE THE OLD WORLD AND BEYOND
Orcs and Goblins infest the wild corners of the Old World and beyond. They are creatures bound by a common ancestry, a love of bloodshed and violence, and the unifying spirit of the Waaagh! Orcs and Goblins are the perfect antagonists for any game of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. Tribes and Tribulations provides details on a number of these belligerent and spiteful creatures: Goblins, Orcs, Black Orcs, Hobgoblins, and Snotlings, as well as sections on Ogres and Trolls. Each specific tribe receives its own chapter, demonstrating the variety of Orc and Goblin warbands that plague the Old World and beyond.
- The Cluster-Eye Tribe: The Terrors of the Drakwald, a band of Forest Goblins hungry for captives
- The Broken Nose Tribe: Notorious breakers of several Dwarf Holds and incorrigible looters of artillery
- The Black Mountain Boyz: A vicious band of Orcs accomplished in the arts of banditry and extortion
- The Stone Snakes: Savage Orcs engaged in an ongoing campaign against the depredations of Chaos Dwarfs
- The Wolfboyz of Oglah Khan: A band of Hobgoblin scouts for hire, with a pronounced reputation for treachery
- Matthogg’s Payswords: A brutal group of mercenary Ogres currently located in the wilds of Ostermark
- Trolls in Various Forms: The various forms taken by these ferocious monsters and insights into their behaviour
- Waaagh! Magic: The shamanic practices of Orc and Goblin magic users and the spells they employ
- Orc and Goblin Nemeses: A guide to mighty Orc and Goblin foes, notorious Warlords, and monsters
Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay: The Hahnbrandt Militia
The Reikland may be considered a civilised land, a Grand Province of the Empire and home of its capital, Altdorf. However, much of the land is a dangerous territory, a wilderness of hilly moorland and trackless forest. The province must be defended from enemies within and without.
Her people are ready to form such a defence. Hahnbrandt is one of the province’s more productive mining towns. Its militia is a mostly professional force, employed by Graf von Wallenstein to guard the town and shipments of ore. The Hahnbrandt militia patrols around the town, offering the miners some protection from the innumerable dangers of the neighbouring Hägercrybs.
This supplement provides GMs of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay with templates and profiles needed to create the types of soldiers that might be found garrisoning settlements throughout the Empire, or making up the ranks of the nation’s armies. As well as templates for Halberdiers, Scouts, Captains, and other sorts of soldiers, the supplement provides particular detail on four of the officers responsible for the Hanhnbrandt Militia.
- Captain Hilde Proell — an old soldier who takes her responsibilities seriously, the loyal eyes and ears of the graf and a careful commander of his forces.
- Captain Alaric Marks — a nobleman with the common touch, Marks is beloved by his troops, but more for his habit of ensuring they spend their time carousing rather than undertaking tedious drills.
- Captain Gisels Tarendorf — the officer in charge of Hahnbrandt’s Scouts, professional and respectful, but a follower of Ranald with subversive tendencies.
- Sergeant Arnolf Freer — a talented halberdier and ringleader of a gang of blackguard seeking to prey upon those they are paid to protect.
- Encounters with the militia are detailed, providing GMs with ideas on how a meeting with the defenders of the Empire’s far-flung communities may not always be straightforward, and could potentially lead a band of unwary Characters into the murky worlds of criminality … or politics.
You might also be interested in The Warband of Bayl of Many Eyes, a band of savage Norsemen, dedicated to the Plague God, pursuing a mysterious mission, together with templates and ideas on how to create different sorts of Chaos Warrior and use them in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay.
When clouds cover the moon, and the sea fog rolls in, the Dark Elves strike from their sleek vessels. Cloaked corsairs swing onto enemy ships or slink into remote coastal villages, the air ringing with cruel laughter and the sound of slaughter. They seek plunder or captives, bound for a life of misery in frozen Naggaroth.
The Corsairs of Captain Flariel is one of a series of supplements detailing bands of antagonists for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. It provides information on Dark Elf Corsairs and suggestions for encounters and plot hooks. It also includes a profile for a Dark Elf ravenship, compatible with the rules in Sea of Claws. An introduction to the malign practices of Dark Magic is also provided.
This supplement also provides a profile for Dark Elves in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay and a set of creature templates for ship-bound raiders — these combine with the Bestiary in the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay Core Rulebook to create NPC norscan sailors, Bretonnian buccaneers, Goblin pirates, or other types of seaborne reaver.
There are profiles for four important Characters from the Raptor’s Talon. There are tensions between Flariel’s Reavers… underlying conflicts which could erupt into rebellion if inventive Characters tip the scales.
- Captain Flariel is a swashbuckling thrill-seeker, who lives for the excitement and unpredictability of adventure.
- The sorceress Rakaria seeks ancient Elf artefacts to improve her standing in the treacherous city of Ghrond.
- Corvian Sabeth, a cruel overseer and master of vicious dogs.
- Cynwra, foremost among a band of wretched captives who plot an uprising … though without help, they are doomed.

Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay: Deft Steps Light Fingers
A supplement for playing Characters in the Rogue or Ranger class.
The Old World is home to many rogues, individuals who make their living by preying upon their fellow citizens. Whether driven to crime through poverty, sloth, desperation, or malice, such characters prefer not to make their living through honest labour, but acquire coin through trickery, extortion, or theft. Many such Rogues worship one of the several facets of Ranald, the God of Tricksters. Whilst not a forbidden divinity as such, the worship of Ranald is far from respectable, and banned in many provinces.
Rangers are those who make their living travelling the wild places of the Old World and living off the land. They face many dangers in the wilderness, but the skills practised by those who rove the countryside are invaluable to adventuring parties. Taal, the god of the wild, is often beseeched by rangers and their ilk, and his cult is described in detail. For those who are skilled in hunting with a bow or with traps, the business of hunting may prove a lucrative pursuit.
· New careers such as the Forger, Muleskinner, Poacher, Gamekeeper, and specialised Priests of Taal and Ranald.
· New Miracles of Taal and Ranald.
· Ideas for carrying out thefts, confidence tricks, and forgeries.
· New endeavours and events tied to long-term criminal activity.
· The business of organised crime and running a criminal gang.
· A guide to what happens when laws are broken, including rules for trials.
· Rules for tracking through the wilderness.
· A guide to hunting and poaching in the Empire.

Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay: High Elf Player's Guide
“A guide to the lands and culture of Ulthuan, and the High Elves that live there “
High Elves are great Characters to create and play. Their acute senses, athletic grace, perceptive minds, and long lives provide them with many natural advantages over the Humans of the Old World. Added to this, their potential to achieve mastery in the fields of swordsmanship, archery, and magic, means that High Elves make the most of a life of adventure. They can develop into powerful Characters with access to a suite of abilities few can rival. High Elves also present challenges. Controlling their emotions is key to making the best of them, their abilities require dedication to learn, and failure to keep abreast of the latest intrigues in the courts of Ulthuan could lead to a quick fall from grace.
The High Elf Players Guide is the ultimate guide to creating and playing High Elf Characters in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay.
- An essential guide to the High Elves of Ulthuan, their land, history, religion and culture.
- New careers for High Elf Characters, including the Swordmaster, Mage, Sea Guard, and Shadow Warrior.
- Rules for the High Elves prophetic Dreams, overriding Obsessions and maintaining the spiritual balance-Yenlui.
- A system for playing an Elf who has lived for many centuries or one that carries the cursed Blood of Aenarion, the first of the High Elf Phoenix Kings.
- Explore the Lore of High Magic, including a comprehensive list of spells and creating powerful high mages.
- Participate in the infamous intrigues of the kingdoms of Ulthuan.
